Organizational and digital transformation projects are highly challenging and the current practices against these challenges are still limited in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. This is leading to the need of innovative decision supports to help managers conducting such strategies in optimal way. As a first step towards this perspective, this paper summarizes the results of an initial exploratory phase, involving a study of the theoretical foundations and current consulting practices of organizational transformation with PLM approach, in order to identify current limitations.
