In this chapter we present some examples from everyday life in which Linear Algebra is used for the mathematical modeling and solution of problems. These examples include determining the importance of documents using the PageRank algorithm and no claims classes in a car insurance policy, production planning in a manufacturing company, predicting profits or losses using linear regression, and circuit simulation.
