The aim of this study is to explore the impact of technology mediated team touch via smart sleeves on Systems Intelligence (SI) in the context of esports. We conducted an evaluation study with six CS:GO teams in actual game situations. The results showed a tendency for overall SI and 6/8 factors to receive more positive evaluations after the use of the smart sleeve than before. Mediated team touch via smart sleeves increased systemic perception and showed a close-to-significant impact on positive engagement and reflection. The results also showed a positive correlation between SI and the user experience. This indicates that mediated team touch has the capacity to extend SI and direct the thinking and actions of individuals towards the system.

摘要
