A Study on the Design of a Simulation Training System Incorporating Gamification Elements for the Management of Oil Depots
摘要
With the advancement of technology, virtual simulation training has been continuously developing, and its application scope has gradually expanded from the training of basic courses for lower grades to that of specialized courses for higher grades. However, due to technical limitations and equipment costs, the exploration of virtual simulation in the field of petrochemical specialized courses is still relatively insufficient, and there are few studies on the addition of gamification elements. This paper will design a gamified virtual simulation training system from aspects such as oil depot process equipment management, oil depot operation management, oil product measurement and quality management. Starting from the management part of the oil depot design and management course, the Unity development platform will be utilized to gamify the key contents that students are required to master in the course. In-depth interviews and surveys will be conducted with teachers and students from petrochemical universities regarding the design content. Samples will be designed to seek improvement suggestions and gradually improve the system. After the system design is completed, a simple test will be designed based on the final exam syllabus of the course to explore the effectiveness of the gamified virtual simulation.
