The Impact of Blended Learning Experience on Student Learning Outcomes in Marketing Courses

Advances in Internet-based information technology are rapidly changing business education in the higher education environment. Educational reforms, especially in the area of pedagogy, are necessary for business education. This study answers the following questions: Does blended learning experience improve students’ academic performance? Can increasing online learning resources improve student learning? This study was conducted from March to May 2024 at Guangzhou City University of Technology (China). A total of 85 participants were included in a controlled study of two teaching classes in a marketing course using a whole 2cluster sampling method with both traditional face-to-face teaching and online-offline blended learning. The results showed that the use of online and offline blended learning improved students’ academic performance. Increased access to online learning resources resulted in higher levels of student learning.
