This study aims to explore the application of AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) technology in the illustration design of red-themed books and how it empowers the exploration of digital dissemination paths for adolescent values. With the rapid development of information technology and the popularization of digital lifestyles among adolescents, how to effectively spread red culture and guide adolescents to form correct values using emerging technologies has become an important issue that needs to be resolved urgently. Red-themed books, as important carriers for inheriting red culture and promoting revolutionary spirit, their illustration design plays a key role in attracting adolescent readers and conveying value information. However, the traditional illustration design model has problems such as limited creativity and low dissemination efficiency, and it is difficult to meet the current needs of digital dissemination. Therefore, this study introduces AIGC technology, aiming to enhance the attractiveness and dissemination power of red-themed books through intelligent and personalized illustration design. The relationship between the research background and the core issue is that AIGC technology can break through the many limitations of the traditional design model. With its powerful algorithms and rich database, it can quickly generate diverse illustration content and present it in multimodal forms such as pictures, animations, and interactive designs, more vividly and vividly accurately conveying the values in red culture to adolescent groups. Thus, it can more effectively convey the values in red culture to adolescent groups. At the same time, by exploring the application path of AIGC technology in illustration design, this article expects to provide new ideas and methods for the digital dissemination of red culture and provide strong support and impetus for the innovative development of adolescent values education, which has important theoretical and practical significance.
