Information Visualization Design for the Dissemination of Cultural Heritage in the Context of Technology
摘要
The rapid development of digital technology has significantly increased the speed and breadth of information dissemination. However, the overwhelming amount of information has also led to the problem of information overload for audiences. Against this backdrop, information visualization design provides an effective solution by transforming complex information into intuitive and easily understandable visual forms, facilitating information dissemination and reception. As information visualization evolves from traditional static presentation to dynamic and interactive experiences, the integration of technology and art has diversified information design while emphasizing a human-centered approach to information communication. In the dissemination of cultural heritage, information visualization design not only concretizes abstract data but also conveys the symbolic systems and aesthetic characteristics of cultural heritage. Through technological means, it provides innovative forms of expression, thereby extending the cultural value and social significance of cultural heritage. Particularly in the context of globalization and digitalization, cultural heritage is facing the risk of marginalization. Information visualization design, as a bridge within the technological framework, effectively connects modern audiences with cultural heritage, enhancing audience engagement and emotional resonance. This facilitates a more efficient dissemination of cultural connotations and the inheritance of cultural value. This study adopts information visualization design as a starting point to explore ways to promote the digital representation and dissemination of cultural heritage within a technological context. It seeks to offer new perspectives and practical strategies for the contemporary transmission and preservation of cultural heritage.
