Experience Design of Human-Computer Interaction Process for Special Cultural and Blessing Tourism Activities of Shenjing Village

The digital revolution and cultural tourism boom are reshaping heritage presentation, driving demand for immersive experiences. Shenjing Village in Guangzhou, rich in traditions from imperial examination culture to ancient rituals, exemplifies this trend. Historically constrained by geography and infrastructure, it is now a living lab for heritage preservation and experiential tourism through government-led initiatives. Our interdisciplinary study integrates AR, multisensory interfaces, and affective computing to convert static cultural symbols into dynamic narratives. Using mixed-methods—qualitative ethnographic observations and quantitative biometric measurements—we map user journeys, analyze sentiment, and model behavior. Through participatory co-design and iterative validation, we refine interaction modalities, ensuring technological robustness and cultural authenticity. Empirical results show that adaptive storytelling with context-aware personalization and real-time haptic feedback increases engagement retention by 42% over conventional displays. Younger visitors (18–35) respond 3.2 times more to gamified rewards, while mature visitors (55 +) prioritize rich cultural context. We propose a conceptual framework balancing tech intensity with community values, suggesting sustainable innovation indicators. Looking ahead, we advocate intelligent cross-platform ecosystems with machine learning-driven content and social VR integration. Simulations suggest this could enhance cultural transmission by 57–63% and maintain visitor engagement over 18 months, crucial for tourism viability. This holistic approach redefines human-technology-culture relationships and offers blueprints for global heritage sites navigating digital transformation.
