This study takes Tangjiawan Ancient Town as the research object, focusing on optimization strategies for street landscape design oriented towards the needs of individuals with mobility impairments. As a core component of the ancient town's spatial structure, street landscapes primarily consist of three dimensions: architectural landscapes, facility landscapes, and green landscapes, whose design quality directly affects the inclusivity of street spaces for individuals with mobility impairments. The study begins with a systematic analysis of the town's signage and identification system, revealing that scientific spatial layout, comprehensive information coverage, intuitive visual communication, and clear directional functionality are key elements in enhancing spatial recognizability for individuals with mobility impairments. Secondly, regarding the design of sidewalks and pavement in crossing facilities, the study proposes design strategies such as enhancing color contrast, optimizing the layout of luminous elements, and using anti-slip materials to ensure safety while improving the spatial experience quality for individuals with mobility impairments. In terms of the lighting system, the study recommends constructing a well-structured, humanized lighting system, with particular attention to the visual needs of individuals with disabilities, optimizing lighting effects by controlling glare and improving nighttime visibility. Finally, for public service facilities, the study suggests optimizing the spatial layout of public restrooms, integrating smart devices and barrier-free facilities, and harmonizing them with the ancient town's aesthetic. The design of trash bins should consider waste classification needs and pedestrian flow distribution, adopting underground placement to maintain street cleanliness. Through systematic landscape optimization design, this study aims to enhance the spatial inclusivity of Tangjiawan Ancient Town's streets, creating a more humanistic and caring touring environment for individuals with mobility impairments.
