Positive Consumer Dispositions and How They Affect Behavior
摘要
Consumer purchase behavior is affected by positive attitudinal dispositions, as well. These activate mechanisms in the consumer’s mind in driving her to purchase. In this chapter, we focus on the positive dispositions that have received the most attention in the literature because studies have found them to be the more significant drivers of consumer behavior in the international context. They are consumer cosmopolitanism, affinity, patriotism, xenophilia, xenocentrism, materialism, nostalgia, and ethnicity-based dispositions, social cognition and stereotyping.
