This study examines the impact of integrating digital technology into high school education on students’ health literacy and learning motivation, utilizing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to assess acceptance and learning outcomes. The aiFree Care sarcopenia detection system was used as the core teaching tool, with usability evaluated through the System Usability Scale (SUS) and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The 18-week curriculum covered theoretical knowledge, technological application, and community-based practice, allowing students to explore aging-related health issues, operate smart assistive devices, and engage in health promotion at long-term care institutions. The results indicate moderate system usability (SUS score: 62.19), with UEQ ratings highlighting strengths in innovation and attractiveness, though improvements are needed in operational efficiency and ease of use. TAM analysis showed that perceived usefulness and ease of use significantly influenced learning motivation and behavioral intention, reinforcing the role of digital technology in enhancing education. This study provides empirical evidence supporting the integration of digital health technology in education. It recommends enhancing interface design, improving instructional guidance, and expanding implementation in school settings to optimize learning experiences and strengthen students’ health literacy.
