The specifications of the Digital Video Broadcasting Channel (DVB-S2) and Satellite Return Channel (DVB-RCS2) enable the construction of fully interactive satellite networks for the transport of IP traffic with quality of service guarantees (QoS) and for best-effort (BE) traffic. The standard provides guidelines for the mechanisms for the allocation of satellite resources, so this article presents an initial approach to the allocation of MultiFrame – Time Division Multiple Acess (MF-TDMA) frame slots according to the type of traffic generated by the applications of the satellite client stations. Capacity requests originate from the applications and must be translated into the types of requests provided by the standard, thus necessitating the proposal of an adaptation level that filters requests with specifications for quality of service guarantees of common IP traffic types and additionally performs the mapping corresponding to a request for multi-frame time slots.

摘要
