With more than a billion people in the world having some kind of disability, it is possible to see the imminent increase in inequality in relation to the digital inclusion of this group in an increasingly digitalized society. In order to better understand the users of digital products and develop interfaces that solve people’s real problems, the field of User Experience has grown exponentially in the last decade, placing the user at the center of development and the choices to be made. In this exploratory hypothetical-deductive study, bibliographical research was carried out in order to provide greater context on issues related to Digital Accessibility and User-Centered Design, seeking to understand how the area of User Experience can help to include people with sensory disabilities in digital products. Through questionnaires open to the general public, with qualitative and quantitative questions, it was possible to identify the main difficulties and needs of users in relation to Telemedicine applications. Then, using interviews, usability tests and an analysis of similar medical applications on the market, an accessibility and usability survey was carried out to understand the quality of the deaf and blind user experience. As a result, the real difficulties faced by people with disabilities in using these applications were identified, and an interface was developed and subsequently validated for an accessible telemedicine system aimed at people with sensory disabilities, focusing on processes and tools already known from User Experience Design and User-Centered Design methods.
