This study examines the intersection of virtual reality (VR) and the sacred, questioning whether VR can support Christian liturgical practices and theological commitments. While some view VR as an extension of reality, enabling sacred presence, others argue it undermines embodiment and sacramental worship. Theological discourse is divided between engagement and resistance. Moving beyond pragmatism, this study explores the ontological relationship between the sacred and the virtual, addressing issues of mediation, embodiment, and religious transformation. By analyzing both the virtualization of the sacred and the sacralization of virtuality, it situates VR within broader theological and philosophical debates on digital existence.

摘要
