In this chapter, we introduce a unified protocol called GLMS (Group Labeling with Multiple Seeds), which employs multiple seeds to construct a Composite Indicator Vector (CIV), thereby reducing useless data transmission. Technically, to address Seed Assignment Problem (SAP) that arises during the construction of CIV, we develop an Approximation Algorithm (AA). We then further design two simplified algorithms through local searching, namely c-search-I and its enhanced version c-search-II.

摘要

In this chapter, we introduce a unified protocol called GLMS (Group Labeling with Multiple Seeds), which employs multiple seeds to construct a Composite Indicator Vector (CIV), thereby reducing useless data transmission. Technically, to address Seed Assignment Problem (SAP) that arises during the construction of CIV, we develop an Approximation Algorithm (AA). We then further design two simplified algorithms through local searching, namely c-search-I and its enhanced version c-search-II.
