Dönitz’s radio address after Hitler’s death and the Berlin station’s final farewell are described, as well as later addresses from Flensburg by Schwerin von Krosigk and Speer. Examples are provided of programme continuity. Attention is paid to the last rabid anti-Semitic broadcast on 4 May. An account is given of the final closing down of Nazi stations, including Reichssender Hamburg, as well as the one-day life of Reichsrundfunk 245m. Nazi broadcasting continued in Flensburg, even after the unconditional surrender, finally ending on 13 May 1945.
