This chapter explores the research insights derived from participants’ linguistic choices, providing an in-depth examination of the themes and patterns emerging from the Wise Steps Feedback Corpus, a collection of nearly 33,000 words from participant feedback to the programme’s Exit Survey. Through corpus linguistics tools, such as keywords, concordances, and collocations, this chapter uncovers the underlying sentiments, experiences, and challenges faced by participants. Key findings highlight the participants’ appreciation for Wise Steps’ support, contrasting its tailored and empathetic approach with more rigid employability services. The linguistic analysis shows that Wise Steps participants frequently praised the programme for its flexibility, individual focus, and the dedication of job coaches, noting these aspects as critical to achieving positive outcomes.
