This study examines demographic trends, leadership roles, and strategic factors among SMEs in Oman. It tests hypotheses related to leadership style, decision-making, strategic planning, and SMEs’ resilience. A mixed-method was used and the results show that leadership experience is limited, with most leaders having less than 3 years of experience, while managers and/or CEOs take on both strategic and operational roles. The results also reveal weak and statistically insignificant relationships between leadership style, decision-making, and strategic planning on SMEs resilience. Leadership style explains only 2.4% of the variance in resilience, and decision-making explains just 1.1%, with strategic planning having no significant impact. This suggests that resilience in SMEs is likely influenced by other factors, such as market conditions, innovation, and team dynamics. In conclusion, while leadership plays a role in shaping organizational strategy, resilience appears to stem from a broader, team-driven approach combined with flexibility and adaptability in challenging environments. Further research is needed to explore additional factors that contribute to SME resilience.

摘要
