The Intersection of Civil Law and Digital Entrepreneurship: Addressing Legal Barriers and Opportunities

The growth of international digital entrepreneurship has also created new difficulties and possibilities that challenge the legal framework. In this perspective, this piece focuses on the interplay between civil law as an institution and digital entrepreneurship, particularly the potential areas of reforms as well as the legal barriers that hinder digital entrepreneurs. Among the research questions are the issues of how intellectual property is enforced, how contracts are enforced in cyberspace, and how Internet-based businesses are governed. This document also discusses the implications of legislation on consumer protection, the law on access to information and privacy, and the evolving context of transactions on the Internet. The study identifies the barriers current legislation presents to digital entrepreneurs and examines potential cross-border strategies to improve the legal frameworks. This includes recommendations on how existing legislation should be altered in order for civil law to keep up with technological advancements and remain relevant to digital businesses. These are the questions the paper aims to address which in the long term will assist in the development of the legal frameworks that are necessary for the promotion of digital entrepreneurship and the protection of the rights of the stakeholders.
