Factors Influencing Omani Women’s Investment Decisions
摘要
This study investigates the investment behaviors of Omani women in Ibri, Al-Dhahira, highlighting their significant contribution to the Sultanate of Oman’s economic development. This research focuses on various investment avenues such as real estate, stock markets, gold jewelry and business ventures. This study applied a qualitative approach in which data were collected through a well-structured online questionnaire covering demographic, financial, social, cultural and decision making dimensions. The research uses the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measure and Bartlett’s test to assess data validity, while Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and the Varimax Rotation approach were used to identify and extract factors influencing investment decisions. The findings revealed four primary factors: financial information, risk and return, social influence, cultural context and practical decision-making elements. This study underscores the complex interconnectedness of these factors and suggests that addressing the identified barriers could enhance financial empowerment and participation in economic development.
