Cultural Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship at the Crossroads: Catalyzing Social Change - A Bibliometric Analysis

This article offers a thorough bibliometric analysis of English-language publications indexed in Scopus, focusing on the intersection of cultural innovation and social entrepreneurship. It examines the impact of these concepts in driving social transformation within communities, identifying major trends, influential authors, collaborative networks, and key research areas within the field. A total of 113 articles, published between 1961 and 2024, were combined in order to identify common approaches, foundational theories, and underlying hypotheses. The research design employed quantitative methodologies, utilizing VosViewer and Bibliometrix for data analysis. With an emphasis on the MENA area specifically, the main goal is to examine how cultural innovation and social entrepreneurship interact to promote social inclusion, sustainable development, and territorial resilience. The results shed light on current research gaps and provide avenues for further investigation to further harness the potential of cultural innovation as a catalyst for social impact.
