Eagle Syndrome as a Rare Disease
摘要
Eagle syndrome (ES) is a rare condition characterized by an elongated styloid process or calcified stylohyoid ligament compressing neurovascular structures. Despite its low prevalence, ES can have significant clinical implications, often presenting with vague and nonspecific symptoms. Recognizing ES as a rare disease can facilitate its diagnosis, promote multidisciplinary care, and improve patient outcomes.
