Psychological safety is essential in HCI, particularly in participatory design processes where diverse voices must be empowered to contribute equally. This study investigates gender disparities in psychological safety within real-world tech teams, using a feminist living lab framework. A total of 28 participants (16 women, 12 men) from a large technology company completed a validated psychological safety scale. Results showed that female team members report significantly lower levels of psychological safety than their male counterparts, particularly in areas related to risk-taking, voicing concerns, and handling mistakes. Women reported consistently lower scores compared to men, especially those related to fear of mistakes, exclusion, and risk taking. Additionally, fairness and inclusion emerged as key factors influencing psychological safety. These findings highlight the need for targeted interventions to address gendered dynamics and foster more inclusive team environments.

摘要
