The inverted T technique described by Professor Ivo Pitanguy is presented, as it is currently performed in Argentina, along with its modifications. It is adaptable to most hypertrophies, deformities, ptosis, and asymmetries of the mammary glands. It has a short learning curve and does not require fixed measurements for marking, which provides great flexibility for adapting to different breast shapes. Very few complications have been reported, and it does not interfere with breastfeeding after surgery.
