Composite dental resin is a widely used material in restorative dentistry for replacing lost dental tissue, making it essential to understand the factors influencing its polymerization. The study aimed to determine how the shade of resin affects the curing depth of Bulk-fill resins (BFRCs) under different light intensities and curing durations. The study was an in vitro-based experimental research, comparative, and analytical , in which 60 cylinders of Bulk-fill resin were analyzed in three different shades (IVA, IVB, and IVW), considering intensities of (400–1200 and 1200 mW/cm2) and times of 10 and 20 s, resulting in 12 groups of 5 cylindrical specimens each. The results establish that the p-value is p = 0.001, which shows the research results are statistically significant in the difference of groups analyzed, with shade IVA having higher values of polymerization depth (3.49 ± 0.0049) when cured at 1200 mW/cm2 for 20 s; similar to shade IVW at 400–1200 mW/cm2 for 20 s (3.49 ± 0.06), the lowest curing values were observed with a curing time of 10 s. It is concluded that shades IVA and IVW had higher polymerization depth values; there were no significant differences related to intensity; however, at 20 s, the curing depth values were greater, which provides effective polymerization, granting the material improved physical and clinical properties.
