This chapter explores how sustainable investment strategies and the changing green economy are developing, emphasizing how business models are adapting to meet the increasing need for sustainability. The green economy challenges conventional economic practices and opens up new opportunities for investors, policymakers, and businesses by emphasizing low-carbon, resource-efficient, and socially inclusive growth. This review explores various business models that are redefining success in the green economy, including circular business models, renewable energy initiatives, and the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria into core business strategies. We examine how companies are leveraging sustainable investment instruments, such as green bonds, impact investing, and climate funds, to finance projects that reduce environmental impact and promote social well-being. Through case studies of companies across different sectors, including energy, manufacturing, and technology, we highlight the practical implementation of these strategies and their outcomes in terms of financial performance, risk management, and societal impact. This shift is primarily being driven by customer desires, governmental restrictions, and technical advancements that allow organizations to operate in a sustainable manner. There are still issues to be resolved, like managing the risks connected with green investments, negotiating complex regulatory regimes, and striking a balance between sustainability goals and profitability.
