Tunica Albuginea Flap: A Salvage Procedure for Implantation of Artificial Urinary Sphincter in Patients with Fragile Urethra
摘要
Revision surgeries after AUS implantation are a challenging topic. There are multiple salvage techniques for implantation of artificial urinary sphincter in high-risk patients with fragile urethra. Using the corpora cavernosa flaps has been described in some case reports. We describe a modified salvage procedure using tunica flap in patients with fragile urethra. The tunica flap was harvested from the corpora cavernosa and was wrapped around the urethra to provide more protection.
