Floppy glans syndrome (FGS) is a potential complication after penile prosthesis placement which occurs when there is hypermobility of the glans even with rigid erection in place. Glans hypermobility has been described in the ventral, dorsal, or lateral directions. FGS can occur from anatomic abnormalities, however is most commonly seen with improper placement, corporal dilation, or cylinder sizing of the implant. This can result in a glans that is softer, and not in the same plane as the penile shaft (glans droop) that causes difficulty with intercourse including painful intercourse and difficulties with penetrative intercourse, as well as an undesired cosmetic appearance.
