An antenna optimized for MIMO systems, featuring broad frequency coverage and directional capabilities, is introduced. To achieve ideal impedance matching, the antenna configuration combines a concave parametric reflector, a meander dipole, and a parasitic strip. The MIMO array consists of four antenna elements strategically positioned orthogonally to ensure effective isolation and maintain compact overall dimensions. In order to get the 3rd frequency band, multiple parasitic strips are placed amidst the array’s elements. The designed antenna resonates at 2.8 GHz, 5.8 GHz, and 8.5 GHz for the application requirements of satellite communications, ISM, and military applications.
