A Simulation Game for Addressing Hospital Difficulties from Disaster Onset to Recovery
摘要
This study aims to design a simulation game to train medical personnel to deal with troubles in a hospital over several weeks, from immediately after a large-scale disaster until recovery. When a large-scale disaster strikes, various problems occur in hospitals. Still, the types of issues change over time, and the available lifelines, such as electricity, gas, and water supply, also change. In this study, we designed a simulation game. We evaluated its effectiveness in enhancing medical personnel's ability to ideate and judge how to respond to troubles in a hospital under such situations.
