Definitions of Organization Well-Being in the New Normal Era: A Qualitative Research
摘要
This research studied the definitions of organization well-being and how it is interpreted by working people in Thailand. Data collection was conducted by interviewing practitioners that represent 20 organizations in Thailand known to have supporting functions and policies for employee well-being. The findings were discussed alongside with the previous study of Sritanyarat and Pruetipibultham (2023) that examined the definitions based on the Nine Cell framework as well as used to fulfilment the concept of Happy 8 from the ThaiHealth organization. This research provides both academic and practitioners with the insights of organization well-being in Thailand in the new normal era and ways to accomplish it. This research, together with its initial stage of literature review, is determined to lead to the development of an organization well-being diagnosis tool that allows the Thai organizations to monitor and assess the current state of well-being and take actions toward fostering well-being more systematically.
