The relevance of the scientific research is determined by the changing educational paradigms of training military specialists in the context of an unstable external environment, where the use of technological innovations in the EdTech sphere, as one of the indicators of intellectual development, is of particular importance in the context of the formation of abilities of students. The research purpose is to create a methodological model of the educational process based on an innovative approach, the implementation of which will contribute to the development of intellectual qualities of future military specialists. In this work, a set of methods was used that made it possible to obtain a practical result. Content analysis of scientific literature and systematization of points of view of domestic and foreign researchers provided an opportunity to analyze the category under consideration. The authors came to the conclusion that the innovative educational environment acts as a vector indicator contributing to the positive transformation of the individual, focused on intellectual development. The result of the study was a methodical model for the development of intellectual qualities of a military specialist in the learning process based on an innovative approach, where the main essential characteristics of the innovative educational process, its subsystems are defined and the relationships between them are established. The consequence of the impact of the innovative educational environment is a factor in activating the process of personal intellectual development.
