Biomechanical modeling and simulation of pelvic floor structures have caught much attention in the past decade. Many computational approaches were developed to advance our understanding of the mechanism of pelvic floor pathologies and improve the treatment clinically. In this chapter, we review some of the existing work on building three-dimensional (3D) models of the pelvic floor and modeling its mechanics.
