In an ever-evolving world where urbanization is rapidly changing the landscape of societies, sustainability extends beyond environmental concerns. These microcosms of urban living demand special attention when it comes to fostering social harmony and longevity. Traditionally, sustainability links with the lens of three interconnected dimensions: social, economic, and environmental. For sustainable development, this fast urbanization brings both opportunities and difficulties. The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG 11), “Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable,” underscores the critical need to address the complexities of urbanization while ensuring that cities become engines of economic growth and centers of inclusive and sustainable habitat. Therefore, this research addresses the linking factors responsible for sustainable habitat, SDG 11 targets, and end-user satisfaction. Eighteen attributes are categorized into six groups and further analyzed to obtain results. The questionnaire captures responses for garnering user satisfaction related to building and those external factors influencing user satisfaction. The study reveals that attributes such as water and sanitation services, reliable electricity supply, and accessible health-care facilities emerged as top factors. In contrast, accessible and efficient transportation options, public transit, and walkable infrastructure cause low demand among end users. The research underscores the transformative impact of sustainable habitat living on end-user satisfaction within the construction sector.

摘要
