Green investment’s linkage with financial technologies has presented a new era of sustainability warming various aspects of it. The blue economy or ocean-based development is a recent and revolutionary idea which is catalyzed as an important axis of green concept. Blue economy, includes industries such as sustainable fisheries, renewable marine energy, eco-tourism etc. necessitates s`nificant and targeted funding to achieve innovation, minimizing the environmental issues, and provide a rigorous economic growth. The traditional financing methods have often struggled to align with the unique challenges and opportunities of blue economy, including high risks, undefined gains, regulatory complexities, and the requirement of sustainability measurements. Fintech is revolutionizing the blue economy’s access to cash through its ability to provide creative financial solutions. By means of peer-to-peer lending platforms, blockchain-enabled transparency, green bonds, and AI-powered risk assessment models, fintech is simplifying investments that meet Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards. Digital financial system integration increases accountability in project execution, promotes inclusivity, and speeds up resource mobilization. Furthermore, by fostering data-driven decision-making, the collaboration of fintech and green investment helps close the gap between environmental conservation efforts and financial stakeholders. This chapter explores the evolving nexus of green investment and fintech in catalyzing sustainable development within the blue economy. The area of the study has been taken the coastal states of India. The secondary data of financing systems and financial technology devoted towards the ocean economy has been taken and discussed. By analyzing the correlation between green investment and fintech the research presents an explanatory study for equitable, efficient, and impactful investment in ocean sustainability.
