Innovative FinTech Solutions for Ocean Resource Management
摘要
The purpose is to explore how Fintech solutions can drive sustainability in ocean resource management. To support the goal, the examination of FinTech’s solutions for critical challenges (overfishing, marine pollution, etc.) is presented. The purpose is completed by showcasing innovative technologies like blockchain, artificial intelligence, and decentralized finance. Dynamic ocean degradation is a fact, so there is an urgent need for sustainable policy, tools, and innovation implementation. On the other hand, there is a gap between the needs and technology application and the knowledge integration. Also, there is a lack of comprehensive studies showing “Good Practices” for effectiveness and scalability that encourage their use. The analysis employs a combination of comprehensive desk research, literature review, and comparative studies to establish an understanding of the innovative Fintech solutions for ocean resources. Data were gathered and also the study-case methodology was used to analyze examples for in-depth investigation. Visualization methods were used to make complex conclusions clear. The findings highlight the transformative and catalytic role of Fintechs in ocean resources. At the same time, knowledge alone is still not enough for efficient implementations, so the need for practical education is still pressing. A better understanding may come through widely spread “Good Practices,” which help scale solutions in business practice. Practical implications are crucial for policymakers, financial institutions, technology developers, and businesses engaged in ocean resource management. Fintech services for the Blue Economy are in a growth phase, so we should expect them to improve. Implications grow in the following directions: regulatory frameworks, adoption and scaling, education, sustainable practices, and a long-term perspective.
