Papa Don’t Preach: Abortion in the 2024 Presidential Election
摘要
Reshaping the federal judiciary was arguably Donald Trump’s biggest accomplishment. The Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022 was the culmination of sixty years of conservative advocacy, yet also a widely unpopular development that impacted American politics in the years leading up to the 2024 presidential election. This chapter examines how this issue was navigated by Donald Trump, the Republican Party, the religious right, Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party, and advocates of reproductive rights.
