The aim of this research study is to get a higher and deeper understanding of the reality of this impact, throughout an accurate analysis on an extensive sample of large companies active in the worldwide pharmaceutical sector. To manage the study’s objective, authors decided to collect appropriate and accurate data of real I40 practices developed by ninety of the world's largest pharma companies. After data compilation and analysis, authors could infer that the proper and adequate adoption of the I40 techniques able to be implemented under the new industrial paradigm could enable an increase in company’s customer responsiveness and a relevant step to improve the overall efficiency of their supply chainsSupply chain. On the same studied the I40 adoption has represent to analysed companies an additional on their level of innovation and service.
