Today industries face challenges in a highly competitive globalGlobal world. Such challenges imply both economic strategies and operations strategiesOperations strategy that tend to involve environmental care. In such a context, this work details supply chainSupply chain operations strategiesOperations strategy using a circular economyCircular economy approach, which has been investigated by other authors in the literature reviewsLiterature review. It systematically studies todays’ trend of addressing this issue and assesses every work employing certain keywords: supply chainSupply chain; operations strategyOperations strategy; globalGlobal, sustainable circular economyCircular economy. Its findings stem from 20 review articles of the 79 identified in the principal academic databases. They reveal that manufacturing industries are implemented mostly in operations strategiesOperations strategy based on green product design, sustainable supply chainSupply chain management, performance indices, servitization, reverse logistics, applications of industry 4.0Industry 4.0 (I4.0) technologies, etc.
