摘要
In sheltered employment centres, medium-term decisions are relevant because they will impact short-term planning and schedulingScheduling decisions with which different employees are subject to specific legal frameworks because not all employees are suitable for each activity, each place and each time. Such operational complexity also appears in medium-term planning because the activities that can be performed in different kinds of labour enclaves can oblige organizations to manage their own transport means for people with disabilities. Establishing training periods and holidays in advance is necessary, but should not negatively impact customer service levels. After revising the literature about operations planning for sheltered employment centres and aggregate planningAggregate planning, this work describes the aggregate planningAggregate planning of a case studyCase study that proposes an MILPMıxed integer linear programming modelMILP model to solve it and discusses both the context and implications of using this tool.
