Serious matters have been raised with the massive digital revolution, and with the involvement of Artificial intelligence systems in our daily lives it became an urge to study this field. In addition, the issuance of the recent Omani Personal Data Protection Law had brought the attention to explore it. This research focuses on two main aspects: one is the data economy, which is to be the driven motive for international economies. The second aspect is the concept of artificial intelligence, which includes its history, definition, applications, and the regulations that are meant to preserve the ethical and legal use of these systems. The paper highlighted common concept that are associated with these aspects, such as individual behavioural insights and AI applications in the Omani industry.
