A Mixed Method Study Exploring University Faculty’s Perceptions of How Proposed BETLMS Blend Model Impacts Organizational Excellence Using AI Solutions: Oman Case

This study intends to investigate how the proposed BETLMS blend model impacts organisational excellence (OE) using Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions from the perspectives of university faculty at the Military Technological College (MTC) in the Northeastern part of the Sultanate of Oman. In addition to revealing how the proposed BETLMS Blend model is perceived, the study reports on the correlation between the BETLMS Blend model and organisational excellence. The study is based on the assumption that the proposed BETLMS blend model enhances organisational excellence through the use AI technologies. A pragmatist philosophy serves as the foundation for the study’s research design. A mixed-method case study approach involving a survey administered to 40 male and female university faculty members was used for data collection. The survey includes 4 open-ended questions highlighting viable quotes that validate quantitative results. Descriptive statistics and correlation analysis are used to analyse the quantitative component of the data. Thematic analysis is used to identify the frequency occurrence of words and phrases that reflect the way in which the proposed BETLMS blend model impacts organisational excellence (OE). The findings suggest that the proposed BETLMS Blend model enhances organisational excellence using AI solutions. However, the sample is taken from one case study in a limited geographical area in Oman, the study opens a new horizon of research to validate the results in similar locations. The study provides insights via quantitative findings, and participants voiced their opinions on how the BETLMS blend model impacts organisational excellence via AI solutions in Oman.
