Purpose This study aims to explore the extent to which the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) model contributes to organizational excellence by enhancing operational efficiency, quality improvement, cost reduction, environmental sustainability, and risk management. In addition to revealing how the LSS model is perceived, the study reports on the descriptive analysis between the LSS implementation and various dimensions of organizational excellence. The study assumes that the LSS model drives an organization’s excellence. A pragmatic philosophy underpins the study’s research design. A mixed methods case study methodology was used in this study. Descriptive statistics analysis is used for the quantitative component. Thematic analysis is used to identify the frequent occurrence of words that indicate the impact of LSS on organizational excellence. The findings suggest that the LSS model significantly enhances organizational excellence. Additionally, it suggests that implementing LSS methodologies efficiently drives the culture of continuous improvement to achieve organizational excellence. The main findings proved a significant impact on operational efficiency, cost reduction, improving quality, risk management, and environmental sustainability. The research recommends integrating Artificial intelligence (AI) LSS practices to enhance data analysis, decision support, and process optimization as AI can provide tools to enhance the efficiency and quality to fast-track toward organizational excellence. The study provides insights into the impact of LSS on organizational excellence. It spotlights the comprehensive benefits of LSS toward organizational excellence elements. The study provides the shareholders with an understanding of the value of implementing the LSS model in achieving organizational excellence in such an industry.
