Behavioral Modification
摘要
Behavior modification is a valuable tool for helping ARFID patients [1] and their families develop the skills needed to ensure the patient consistently receives adequate nutrition. It reinforces behaviors that align with treatment goals [2] and builds on informal behavior management strategies that parents already employ, such as requiring children to complete their homework before playing video games. By developing a more structured behavior modification plan, these existing practices are expanded to support the patient in achieving consistent nutrition and broader treatment objectives.
