By demonstrating how these technologies are being taken up by urban water supply systems, the chapter acknowledges that they can improve water efficiency, lessen environmental impacts, and bolster the resilience of water systems. Simply put, it demands a shift to green technology as an essential component of water sustainability in an era defined by evolving environmental threats.
