AI-Aided Documentation of Urban Graffiti Using NeRF and Gaussian Splatting
摘要
Graffiti rely on social instrumentation for its creation on spatial structures. It is questioned whether different mechanisms exist to transfer social and spatial hierarchies under a new model for better management. This study uses Postshot® to document the interaction between the “hard” infrastructure of a surface and the “soft” infrastructure of graffiti to survey the evolving urban fabric and to create a 3D documentation. Spatial configuration was reconstructed by linear filming and centered image-taking, for traditional photogrammetry tool using Zephyr® and a new AI tool using Postshot®. The result allows field graffiti application in a fast and intuitive documentation from an image-based generative approach.
