Amidst the evolving milieu of management education, a pressing concern is the need to embrace innovative teaching methodologies for the development sector and critically evaluate strategies for fostering socially conscious leaders within the industry. A strong foundation in teaching social responsibility to young aspiring professionals fosters creativity, social innovation and deeply help values that underpin a purpose—driven approach to building community initiatives. In this era of heightened demand for social impact, incorporating strategies for social betterment into the curriculum is crucial. Collaboration with grassroots organisations can provide a valuable platform for understanding and strengthening the social sector. The aim of the study is to determine the influence and impact of Community Development Fellowship or NGO Internships among the young management aspirants. This paper is an attempt to study the pre and post project introspection with the development sector, the learnings and the recommendations proposed by the Generation Z consequently for the last five years.
