In this paper, we present our experience with the digital transformation of undergraduate law courses during the COVID-19 global pandemic. This process included updating the course syllabus, the digitization of the content, and reformatting of the assessment tools so that it is conducted online utilizing the tools and applications available in the Learning Management System (LMS). While there have been challenges and obstacles, the college has managed to successfully ensure the continuity of the education operations with satisfactory results. The impact of online delivery on the students’ academic performance, experience, and satisfaction was examined by conducting an online survey that asked students questions on educational attributes, including course organization, lecture delivery, activities, and assessment. The project was divided into two parts, the first of which focused on the transformation process of the course from traditional face-to-face (F2F) settings to online, including digitizing the content, setting up the online instructional delivery, and designing the course page on the LMS. In the second part, we present the results of a survey questionnaire conducted on students who are currently taking these courses with the aim of gaining insight into student perception and feedback on the different components of the current online teaching and learning model. The results show an overall satisfaction with the recent transition to the online environment, yet more than 50% of the students preferred the traditional F2F because of engagement and F2F interactions with instructors and campus life.
