This chapter aims to wrap up and summarize key arguments, conceptualizations, and analytical frameworks explained in previous chapters of the book. The changing debates within Green Politics and their impact on environmental activism are examined. The future of environmental movements is analysed according to key discussions that are as follows: their impact on global green debates, their effectiveness in influencing policies, future opportunities, and constraints for environmental movements. The implications of the book for Social Movements Studies and IR are explained. Lastly, the book ends with prospective directions of research about emotions in environmental movements and Green Politics.
