Increasing Supply Chain Performance of a SME by Increasing Delivery Function
摘要
A higher supply chain performance is related with a better logistics. The prospective significant problems can be divided in smaller issues. Each issue can be analysed and improved in order to obtain a better performance level. SMEs have limited resources and this approach allow them to become more competitive. This study analyses the delivery function for a small Romanian firm which intends to implement the QDCM model. Suitable planning and execution is mandatory for delivery. The delivery function has four parameters: on time delivery, variance of supplier lead time, backlog efficiency and transportation efficiency. Data was collected for six months from 2022. The average value of delivery function was compared with the thresholds specified by literature review.
